Plain-language summary: The current AARIZ website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not sell personal information. The contact form prepares an email in your email application; it does not submit the message to an AARIZ website database.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information handled by AARIZ Consulting LLC (“AARIZ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through this website, by email, by telephone, and during initial consulting inquiries.

This Policy does not govern information processed solely on behalf of a consulting client under a separate agreement, or the privacy practices of third-party websites and services that we do not control.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

We may collect information that you choose to provide, including:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and role.
  • The consulting service you are interested in.
  • The content of your message and information you share during follow-up communications.
  • Scheduling, proposal, contract, and billing information if you become a client.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, the company that hosts the website or protects it from security threats may automatically process limited technical information, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, referring page, pages requested, and date and time of access. The exact information depends on the hosting configuration.

Sensitive information

Please do not send Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account credentials, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through the website or an initial inquiry unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure method.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries, communicate with you, and schedule consultations.
  • Evaluate your requested services and prepare proposals or agreements.
  • Provide consulting services and manage the client relationship.
  • Process and maintain business records for transactions, where applicable.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and our communications.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect our rights, clients, and others.
  • Carry out another purpose disclosed to you when the information is collected or with your consent.

4. Cookies and Similar Technology

The current version of this website does not place advertising cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, or AARIZ-operated analytics cookies. The contact form uses local browser code to prepare an email in your default email application.

A hosting or security provider may use strictly necessary technology or standard server logs to deliver and protect the website. If we later add analytics, advertising, embedded scheduling, payment processing, chat, or other third-party technology, we will update this Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors may process information for website hosting, cybersecurity, email, communications, scheduling, document management, payment processing, accounting, or other business support. They are permitted to use information only for the services they provide to us, subject to applicable agreements and law.
  • Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transactions. Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • With your direction or consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to or authorize us to do so.

We do not sell personal information for money and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the security of our systems.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, legal requirements, and whether the information is needed for an active or reasonably anticipated dispute. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

7. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely reliable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for using an appropriate method when sending information and for avoiding sensitive information in an initial email or website inquiry.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to AARIZ, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a portable copy, or information about how personal information is used or disclosed. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling.

AARIZ does not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

To submit a privacy request, email support@aarizllc.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or call (585) 737-0584. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Some rights are subject to exceptions. If we deny a request, you may have the right to appeal depending on applicable law; instructions will be provided in our response where required.
